Nintendo News | Hot Model Promotes We Love Golf in Japan

By Adam Riley 04.09.2007 18

Capcom has revealed that it has enlisted the help of a voluptuous Japanese model to promote Camelot's first Wii sports game 'We Love Golf' later this year. Popular bikini model 'Waka Inoue' is set to be the 'spokesperson' for the game, appearing in various TV spots to help get word of the title around Japan. Below is an image of her at the recent event:

Perhaps she can be brought back for the inevitable We Love Tennis as well...we certainly would not mind her playing with our balls!

Be sure to check out the large batch of new screens in the media folder below, plus some promotional shots and a couple of pieces of artwork from the game.

Stick around for further updates...

You might as well change the headline to "Hot model pictures: Wii drool."Smilie

She's pretty and hopefully will help the game sell well to encourage Camelot to do more work for Nintendo platforms.

With 'We Love Tennis' and 'We Love Baseball' already trademarked, it's pretty safe to assume Capcom has signed at least a three-game deal with Camelot...What is sad is how that packshot she's holding doesn't bear the Wi-Fi logo Smilie

What, so no cyber?

Pfffft, it's like the stone ages having to do with just pics, and partially clothed ones too!

Oh well........*huddles off with Kleenex*.

Smilie

In the top picture she looks sort of like a Japanese Carol Vorderman.

Steam: Guess what?

She's 27 and apparently has the same body stats as Marilyn Monroe...but it seems she's not as favoured in Japan at the moment because she's seen to be too 'chunky' Smilie

Looks pretty perfect to me...!

Anyway, I reckon the graphics on this are looking a lot crisper than Pangya. Hopefully the game will sell as well as, if not better, than Hot Shots Golf 5 on PS3 (~300,000 or something like that).

That I do agree with.

Don't suppose anyone's got thoughts on the actual game, though? Smilie

Oh god, no one even mentioned the game.... back on topic, I'd still do her any day of the week.

I remember Nintendo used a Japanese model, with a lovely vulupcious rear end to promote Metroid on the GBA.

I was wondering why I suddenly got the same urge to play Golf as I did to play Metroid... Hawt
