Quick News - Bandai Namco's US website has confirmed that 'Beautiful Katamari' will not only be coming out on Xbox 360 after all, with a only timed-exclusivity period being in place. The game is now listed as 'TBD' for both PS3 and Wii.

I would have thought Wii would be the leading platform anyway (graphically the screenshots weren't exactly 'next gen') and it's just generally a Wii-ish game.

(Update) It's not listed as coming out on Wii on the site anymore. Either it's not coming out on Wii or they are waiting to make a formal announcement.

Eh? I thought it was already confirmed for no PS3 & for Wii/360 instead? Well, I havn't been following the game very well. So that may be why I'm confused Smilie

It was initially for PS3 and 360, with a Wii version just rumoured. Then Bandai Namco cancelled the PS3 version due to low sales of the system...and now it appears to have re-appeared, along with a Wii edition.

The fact they've now removed the PS3/Wii listings is quite strange...hopefully it wasn't just an error.

Such great news, I love the Katamari games. Now I just need to decide whether to get it on 360 or Wii...

My kids really enjoyed Katamari on the PS2 and agreed with some - it is perfectly suited, better suited to the Wii.

All I need now is for Sega to confirm a Wii sequel to Billy Hatcher and I am there (yes, I will keep pushing that barrow - it was great game and deserves a second outing on a machine perfectly suited to it).

I really enjoyed Billy Hatcher and I hope they do bring a sequel to the Wii sometime. I did find it a little hard though and I agree, the controls did become fiddly in some situations.

However it didn't stop it from being a great game and i'm sure they would improve gameplay with a sequel.
