Blimey, Lair really messed up, huh? Come back to us Factor 5!

360 was boosted by the recent price cut, but the PS3 sales actually dropped despite Sony clearing out all of the 60GB stock at a lower price! Smilie

But hey, at least the PS3 managed to trounce the GBA for a change... Smilie

GBA still seems to be hanging on then. I admire the consoles fighting spiritSmilie

Corruption seems to lose ground against Bioshock. Still selling good, thou. X360 sells lower then I would have guessed... Wii is well on track.

Again: Why did Corruption lose ground that much against Bioshock? Any knowledge anyone?

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Factor 5 should just make engines.

Rogue Leader games have been great, but its a bit of a one trick company it seems.

On the other hand, they were probably the company that pushed the Gamecube the hardest in terms of technicalitys. They certainly have skills in codeing and artwork.

Metroid Prime 3 came out at the end of August so those sales are about 4 days worth whereas Bioshock had more than a week to get those sales.

Pretty good for 4 days me thinks.Smilie

Wow, I didn't think Metroid was coming out until Christmas! :-s

It's embarrassing for Sony that the PS3 was beaten in sales by both the PSP and the PS2 yet again.

Wow, something actually beat the DS for once!

What stands out for on that list is the sales for the various versions of Madden NFL 08.

1. Madden NFL 08 (Xbox 360) 896,600
2. Madden NFL 08 (PlayStation 2) 643,600
4. Madden NFL 08 (PlayStation 3) 336,200
11. Madden NFL 08 (Xbox) Unknown
12. Madden NFL 08 (Wii) Unknown
18. Madden NFL 08 (PSP) Unknown

Despite the lower installed user base, the PS3 clearly outsold the Wii version, which was beaten the Xbox version (I thought that they stopped making games for it?). At least it beat the PSPSmilie

I think that unless someone really gets the sports versions right, this will be a permanent trend. Nintendo never seem to excel at sports games, especially car racing, on their consoles. If I had a (non defective) 360, I would still buy my sports games for it (not that I buy many). Sports games are only ever good on Nintendo when they are 'toon' versions - Mario Tennis/Golf/Soccer/Kart and occassionally, a non Mario one:cooldude:

Temporarily banned until further notice.

oldschool,

If you go over to gametrailers.com, you'd see a video of the Wii version of Madden and all of its unique Wii specific features, including the Family play mode designed for casual gamers.

However, EA never advertised the Wii game nor did they make a commercial showing off the features of the Wii game. Instead all they did was advertise the Xbox 360 version.

This left me wondering why would a company spend so much time and effort to develop all those features for the Wii version and never advertise the game at all.

All I can say is that EA did not care whether the Wii version sold well or not. Note: the game was also buggy and the online portion suffered from sever lag. EA apologized and stated that they were fixing the lag issues but once a game is released its kind of too late to go back and try a fix the bugs.

What the hell is High School Musical doing up there?

why is it up hereSmilie
