Quick News: In a surprise announcement highly regarded outfit SEEDS (once known as Clover Studios) will merge with ODD Corporation to create "Platinum Games", which, according to the site's announcement is a "fresh step forward".

Since when in public relations and advertising does 'platinum' mean anything not cheap or not talked smooth with dhiny words? It's a rubbish name. Seed was okay, Clover had style and. Platinum? Actually, second marketing of games from Sony in Germany is called Platinum. It sounds cheap.

Yeah, it is a weird name... I'd rather they had an original & unique name like Clover again...

I'll also be surprised if they ever make any games, & I'd like to see where their rights with their old series' stands.

Actually that's pretty ironic, that the Platinum range of PS2 games has made us think of Platinum as cheap, when actual platinum is dearer than Silver or Gold...

Either way, have we actually found out what the hell SEEDS were actually doing in the first place? Until we hear they're actually making a game they can just hide in a corner or something...

Yeah, VJ Smilie I miss him so. Smilie Although the DS game wasn't that brilliant, JV 1 & 2 were excellent (I dont actually have VJ1, just 2 & DS)

Also I heard Red Hot Rumble was teh laym.

Get out there (Just... Somewhere...) and get it RIGHT NOW! It kicks the shit out of VJ2, seriously... I think they actually did it on purpose, so they could do the whole Trilogy thing of First movie rocks, Second is shit, Third is awesome, but slightly worse than the First. They better make a bloody third one... And they better actually keep co-op in it this time!! >,<

Except with Matrix, the 3rd one is one of the lamest overhyped movies of all time.

& BTW, I've already completed the first. I plan to get it when I have the extra money, see. Smilie

EDIT: By the way, why the hell do all the unlockable characters in VJ1 talk in another language with subs?? Or was that a glitch in my game?

Yeah the Red Hot Rumble is not brilliant shall we say but then it's not actually a bad game if you play with others that are well honed in VJ skillz also. Still a must for the hardcore VJ fan which is the only reason I bought it really.

The DS game is not that great also but fun if short lived, it's still a charming game with all the classic humour VJ is well known for. The game looks and plays just like the GC version with some added touch controls. You can split the screen with swipes n stuff.

I do not know who actually holds the rights whether it be Capcom or the development team, either way I would love to see a Wii game. On Wii it could possibly be made even greater than before with motion and gesture controls.

SuperLink ive seen it for a fiver around, get it, it is the best, but I like two also.

A Wii VJ3 would be one of the most awesome things ever, & it's one of my "top anticipated games that havn't actually been confirmed yet" along with Pikmin 3 & Chibi Robo.

It's a special kind of game, that Viewtiful Joe 1. You have to play it and want to play it in order to explore its jewel like quality! It's a bit rough, not sp smooth like very other lame mass market game. But that's a very good thing and that's what I liked about Clover.
Okami is a great game and has a lot of followers, it's a cult! And a lot of artists over at www.deviantart.com are hot on it. Cute.
