Nintendo News | Mistwalker Brings Two RPGs to DS

By Adam Riley 02.10.2007 4

Following the earlier news of Mistwalker's Blue Dragon possibly coming over to DS, news has emerged from Japan to confirm not only that, but another DS RPG as well. First up is AWAY ~Tsuresarareta Hitobito~, which roughly translates as 'AWAY - The People Who Were Lured AWay' and is due as soon as 31st January, 2008. The scenario is being scripted by Final Fantasy legend himself, Hironobu Sakaguchi, with fellow ex-Squaresoft member Nobuo Uematsu providing the musical score. Character designs are being handled by Naoto Ōshima and Artoon (Yoshi's Island DS) is handling development of the role-playing game.

Secondly is Blue Dragon (temporary title), which is set for March 2008 in Japan, with the developer this time being FeelPlus+ and it is stressed that the game is not set on the anime series. Could it be a side-story to the Xbox 360 game?

Both are being published by AQ Interactive and no doubt scans will appear in the very near future.

Stay tuned for further updates...

Yay more RPGs for the DS.

Its more Wii rpgs that I want. DS has more than enough.

From 2 years ago - "Artoon is currently working with Mistwalker on Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360 while Feel Plus is doing the same for Lost Odyssey."
