Nintendo News | Krystal Dons Smash Bros. Brawl

Krystal the feisty fox from the Star Fox universe will be making an appearance in some form in Smash Bros. Brawl with the voice actress behind Fox McCloud's lover announcing it via her webpage.

Alesia Glidewell, the voice of Kystal in her various game apperances, will be also voice her in Brawl according to her website.

She'll also be voicing the previously announced Knuckle Joe from Kirby & Zero Follow Samus from Metroid.

What's wrong with Krystal? She'll be a different charter to use, and through this simple equation, I'm sure you'll agree it's for the best...

Brawl-clone character(=Falco)+new/different character=better game

Therefore, the confirmation of a new, different character is a good thing. By the way, I personally hope they get rid of clone characters, or at least give them a different moveset. (except LuigiSmilie...:potheadSmilie

I don't like Krystal, but at least if there's a Hunter from MPH revealed from the game, I can make every character, love or hate, join forces to obliterate it.

I don't like Hunters.

I hope she's an assist trophy. I don't want her playable. Slippy has been so important for so long, & what does he get? A regular trophy. Smilie

I'd far rather have Slippy than bloody Krystal...she's as welcome as one of the crappy new Sonic characters...(except maybe Blaze. I quite like Blaze. Smilie )

Lol, I'm not really concerned about their character really - for that reason I would choose Slippy/Peppy but one would wonder what movesets they would have?

Krystal isn't particular my favourite character as a character, but I can see her having a really good moveset with the staff doing physical attacks (like Link's sword) and firing projectiles/creating a shield.

I really can't see Slippy being a decent fighter - as an assist, most definitely, but no way a fighter (if he is, he'd be more gimmicky than anything imo).

Well, we already know Slippy isn't playable. Still, I think Wolf is a much more likely choice, seeing as most big series' seem to be getting at least 1 playable bad guy. (King Dedede isn't really a bad guy per se, but y'know)

Krystal could use psychic attacks.

Lol - I guess it'll cos they'd have to code a completely different height/model with Classic sonic, as his body would be pretty diff - unless they change him slightly (i.e. his shoes/make his spikes shorter/lighter blue)

Wolf is at least a hundred times cooler than any other character in the Starfox universe. I'd like to see him as a bit more than just one of Fox's alt. costumes (where'd you hear this jb?) but wouldn't be all that distraught if he was.

And as annoying as Krystal is, I think she'll be well suited for the game.
