By Adam Riley 29.11.2007 6

Bandai Namco's new Tales RPG, Tales of Innocence, hits Japan in a week's time and two new trailers have been released by the company to show just how amazing the new DS game looks. The first video is what is currently being used in stores across Japan to help promote the Alfa System-developed title, whilst the other is simply the new trailer from Bandai Namco:

Be sure to stick around to see how well the game fares when released on 6th December.

It had better sell bucketloads and get over here sharpish!Smilie

Apparently Bandai Namco saw all the negative feedback surrounding Tales of the Tempest (which I thought was decent 7/10 material) and decided against potentially harming the Tales market in the West. This is destined for a Western release, though, since the company has made this the official next main entry and will be focusing on DS for the franchise in the future.

The game looks bloody amazing - better than FFIV's remake, if I'm honest...

Wow that game looks gorgeous. Their really starting to get allot out of the DS.Smilie

The difference between FFIV and FFIII definitely shows that and this really is impressive as well. Makes you wonder what's going to be coming next from the system.

I really hope this gets at least 400,000 unit sales in its first week. Tempest limped to 200,000 lifetime due to massive price cuts, but since this is a main entry it deserves to at least match the sales of Symphonia on GC.

Bunch of good RPG's coming for the DS. I can't wait for FFIV, and I'll definitely keep my eye on this.

Not sure how I feel about real time battles in an RPG though. Suppose I'll have to find out.

This is looking fantastic!
