That's okay, but how long will they keep dishing out bundles.

I like bundles but not when the shops chooses the games, coz I'd rather get Metroid Prime 3 then Mario Party 8....

Price cut, please.

if anyone wants the full details, check my blog post here -

I expect there won't be a price cut for almost another year. Nintendo knows they will sell Wiis anyway, there's no need to make less profit per console yet.

I'm still waiting for a damn DS Lite price cut.

Smells like cheese said:

People who think that a company will cut the price of a product when they are selling out, demand is very high, people are paying more than the RRP for them on ebay, etc, are a little deluded. This applies to any products, not just Wii/DS.
If you won't buy one at a certain price, but many other people will, then you're just going to have to do without.
If the Wii sales start to taper out next summer then maybe the Wii will be cheaper for next Christmas, slightly, depending on what PS3/360 prices do. Also depends on what the dollar does, the value is going down very fast, which means if the Wii is manufactured in the US (which I thought it was) Nintendo are making less on each Wii sold there, and more on the ones sold elsewhere because they report in Yen.
They might release a bundle or different colours instead of a price cut.
Doesn't matter to me, I've got one.

Wii is showing no signs of slowing down, if there is a price cut, it'll be a small one, and it may not be for yonks.
The thing is, I don't buy a console for it's capabilities, I buy it for the games that interest me. If the Wii has a good selection of games by this time next year, then for

I agree, plus another reason for the bundles is it's the only way for retailers to make extra money on the wii because they can't sell it alone above the RRP. Looking at some bundles it's a way to get rid of the games that aren't selling too.

They are not going to drop the price until late next year at the earliest. Why on earth would they drop the price early next year when the console is doing far beyond expectations at the current price and has huge in house games that will further sell the hardware.

Who needs a price cut when you can just import?
