Nintendo Wii Media | Smash Update: Ice Climber Theme

It's a musical second update today on the Smash Bros. Dojo with the Ice Climbers taking center stage with an ever-changing theme!

Composition Supervisor: Akito Nakatsuka
Arrangement Supervisor: Toshiyuki Sudo

The Summit is a stage that changes when the mountain peak cracks and pops off.

This song plays on that stage, and it puts the short phrases of the original to work, changing the atmosphere dramatically as the stage changes. It's impressive!

Unfortunately, however, the timing of the phrases shifts during Slow Brawls. Please forgive that.

Be sure to stick with C3 for updates...

The Song sounds good and since they have the My Music update is it possible that other Ice Climber's Songs will appear in the game?

Yeah, it's probable, but since there are only 2-3 Ice Climber songs max, I dunno what they can do Smilie

Possibly Balloon Fight music returning, that'd be cool Smilie

I was thinking they may put the original SSBM/SSB themes in? May as well for smash fans and to please those who may not like the new renditions so much.

They probably will for some stages... maybe this one, but I think this song sounds similar enough to the old one, just a different style.

Ya, true that, wouldn't hurt to have the original mixes included too - for massive fan-service Smilie I presume they have all of the original tunes ready though may need some jigging to include in.

Yeah, but I don't think massive fan-service is necessary, especially since Zero Suit Samus seems to have it covered.

For some reason, I actually like this remix. Smilie I'm not a huge Ice Climbers fan, but this is extraordinarily well done. Reminds me of something you'd hear out of Diddy Kong Racing mixed with a little bit of Super Mario 64 in the bag. Brawl is looking better and better just about everyday Smilie Can't wait to play on this stage.
