I played a little last Friday, and got a few foot stamps trying out a few disciplines in the process. I only got the chance to play the games and none of the proper fitness disciplines however.

I found games like Hula very fun and easy to pick up. The Skiing was by far my best discipline for me, with me making nearly all the gates and getting 50m jumps frequently. I tried Jogging and thought that was fun and actually little funny. I can see that being very fun racing against other times (ghosts). I never got a chance to try out the Tight Rope but it looked cool enough. Football was class, it was very fun, as was the Marble game also. I sucked at the step dancing, it's not really my thing, I found it pretty difficult, but then I have never played a DDR game in my life. I did not like the female voice very much, I found that a little annoying, hopefully it will a nice soft pleasant one for western territories.

The board itself was bigger than I thought it would be and made with hefty plastic, yes yet more lol. It was heavier than I thought it would be. It felt strong and durable, it had large circular rubber pads on the bottom, with two grooves that act like handles to pick the thing up. I was a little surprised it took four batteries, I bet it's a serious battery guzzler. It is certainly well designed and made, I expect it to be another huge hit for Nintendo, but then who would expect otherwise.

Considering this game isn't that cheap with it's hardware addon, it's a very big chart hit.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

well another hit for the Big N and Mr Miyamoto...

..Simple and Clean..

Not surprising at all. This should also prove to be a major hit in Western shores, with the obesity and all.

Yeah this was out of stock pretty much everywhere I went in japan - the only thing slowing sales down are how fast Nintendo can produce those massive lumps of plastic (which must be harder than just producing disks)

getting 50m jumps frequently.
I can get 150m jumps....

You can change that to a nice male voice if you want.

Yeah the box is like 1.5 times the size of the Wii box....(though its thinner)

Where did you get to play it LS?...Is it at your crazy london japanese shops?

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

I think it'll do well when it come out in Europe.

I definately want it, thinking about how it could be used in other games. Smilie

I could do with a bit of exercise as well. Smilie
