Beat'em all's repetitiveness mixed with an average Wii game's ugliness. I feel like I'm gonna love this game.

Fudging hell. Summer 2008? That's pretty lame imo, it's been out in the West for some time now.

Nov in the US. It maybe repetitive but stagerring it till summer 08. ARGH.

Releasing it half a year after the US release. That and it's not even very good (apparantly) only 7 playable characters? Pfft. Clearly just an easy way out to stop Wii owners complaining about the lack of a Soul Calibur game.

"But you get an exclusive game with innovative controls LOL!" - Namco Bandai.

It's actually really sad, this is probably the only Wii Soul Calibur game there will ever be, and it's the most average you can get. Smilie

Summer 08 would be approx July -> September (with either ends being likely, nearing over 9 months for the game to reach our shores. This whole big gap thing I really thought would start to settle with Galaxy leading the way for a good release period.

Okaaaaay... So. Playstaion 3 and Xbox 360 get Soul Calibur IV with Darth Vader and Yoda as special guest fighters. What does Wii get? Soul Calibur Legends. I.E. the shaft. Again. Thanks Namco-Bandai. You f***ers.

Well MechaG2, Lloyd Irving appears as a guest character in Legends and he's pretty cool to play as... But this game reeks! These half assed attempts at making Wii games is p***ing me off! Where is the qualtiy game design and content these games should have? It's just really annoying.

Don't pull another Midway, Namco Bandai! Midway is already banned from my list!

Truly, and Namco-Bandai is only one of many companies pulling this crap. What is with all these 3rd parties pulling half-hearted ports and cheap spin-offs 'outta the crack of their ass, for the most successful system on the frick'n market? It was bad enough when they did this to GameCube, but this is outrageous! Wii is dominating in EVERY territory. So what do they do? They decide to put all their effort, time, and money into quality games for systems that are seriously lagging behind the one that's kicking major ass in sales and popularity the world over. Their logic is dizzying.

At this point. I. Am. PISSED with these freak'n idiots! Throughout it's life, GameCube was disgustingly under-utilized by around 95% of 3rd party devs and publishers (even with the mind blowing technical acheivement that was Rogue Leader at it's launch), now their trying to pull the same sh*t with Wii despite it's rabid worldwide success. Enough is enough, damnit.

It's no SC4, it's lame, it's mediocre in both graphics and leveldesign and it's clearly not worth getting.
With graphics like SMG, Metroid3 and Co there would be possible to do SC4 on Wii. I don't care if all the Uber-jubblies don't waggle, I just want a great SC game here. Without Wiimote if they can't do it right, but anything but this lame game. I think Dragon Blade is better then this.

btw: How good is Dragon Blade?
I find your lack of faith disturbing!

It seems the truth is out. Smilie

A lame cast of characters (except Sophitia and Lloyd who are cool) and there are only 7 to choose from!

Truly sounds lame. I don't want it, and I doubt the Wii will ever get another SC game.

I truly hope Namco Bandai are doing their market research and are checking out the reception for the game. It's disgraceful.

I wanted this game when I first heard about it, but now I'd rather support decent third-party efforts (Z & W next weekSmilie), so screw you Namco-Bandai.

Btw, Soul Calibur is my favorate fighting series.SmilieSmilie

    ...other than Smash, of course.Smilie

Well, I would agree, but I probably prefer DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi. I think I'm not very good at SCII. XD

Although maybe that's just 'cos I know the DC one is the best. Smilie
