Update, 26/01/08 - The Media Create software and hardware listings have now been released, showing that Final Fantasy IV has not dropped off quite as quickly as Famitsu would have us believe. Plus various others numbers are slightly off in the Famitsu leaked data, it seems. Also, Wii clings to its 2nd position on the hardware front, but PSP's 2008 sales so far are still higher. Hopefully low sales will teach Sonic Team a lesson. Sonic 360 bombed too. EDIT: Although that being said... it's a real shame about Trauma Center, 'cos that looks really good! Trauma Centre's always been bigger in the West anyway and Sonic just doesn't sell there either (Sonic Rush, SRA and Sonic Wii all bombed as well and the Sonic Advance games barely did much better). Mario & Sonic's only selling because of the added Mario factor and it being like Wii Sports... Damn. Well, personally I think Sonic Riders will bomb in the west too. I'm thorougly enjoying it, it's surprisingly hard, ive only managed to win one event so far, the sprinting is ridiculous i'm always biased i pick fatty Mario every time like in Strikers. Gets his butt kicked off Shadow (lamest character ever) Oh well on with training. I want Trauma Center to, it's a good improvement from the original. Go go SMG! You can make it. Did anyone else notice that they skipped #19? And 22 and 28? Not all the numbers come from the leaked source. If you check out the early Famitsu numbers here each week you may notice that... You'll get the full Media Create Top 30 tomorrow, followed by the rest of the Top 50 and confirmed hardware numbers on Friday (if I have time to update). You can pretty much bet Tales of Innocence will be one of those missing numbers. damn it i want wii fit so baad, my whole family does, cant belive i;m gna have to wait until at leat august Oh come on Galaxy! You can sell over a million! My gosh over a million already [wii fit!], that is amazing! Also top 9 games are on Nintendo consoles! Or should I say in top 20, 18 games are on Nintey consoles! I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!

Mario & Sonic has started far stronger on DS than it did on Wii...wonder if it'll have the same sales longevity, though? I played five minutes of the Japanese edition and turned it off straight away. Crap. Simple as that. I don't want to break my sodding touch-screen just to win a 100m sprint!! Too much frantic rubbing...no fun. Smash Bros. on 31st... If any game will send Wii sales skyrocketing in Japan, its Brawl. ...or failing that, Monster Hunter 3. Can't wait to see the sales of Smash. Thing with Monster Hunter 3 is that the console versions have never been the powerhouse that the portable editions currently are. If they announced Monster Hunter DS, though, then that'd be a sure-fire smash hit! If the reports of Nintendo struggling to make enough Smash discs are true, then it could be a massacre in Japan with people trying to get hold of the few copies available. That's funny, i would have thought something like galaxy would be the top seller.
