Same here i just hope the Euro release date matches the Australia release

I think it's meant to be 'All PAL territories', so the Aus date should be 15th as well...and it's a great game from what I played of the Japanese version. It's been made tougher for the Western release as people were flying through it far too easily upon its initial release.

I just imported this game today from the US and it is awesome, right up there with FFTA. The battle layout is awesome and the movies look great, and esper summoning is very simple and well thought out. make sure you get this game

I'm currently playing through FFXII on ma PS2. Is this a prequel or something? May have to get it on an emulator or some jazz like that.

No, it's a sequel Smilie

A bit unheard of for FF games. (Except X) And apparantly the gameplay is "new" or something.

I'll probably get it eventually. Having not played FFXII is a huge downside though.

Not really, although it's a sequel it only uses the characters out of 12 not any of the previous storyline. The gameplay is similar to Lost Magic if you've played it but much more advanced and thought through. You start off with 5 team leaders who each start with given number of espers. Espers are like their battle droids. Using a magical stone you can summon these espers onto the field to fight with you. If you want a more in depth view just check some of the trailers on GS since i don't know how to post videos here XD

Wouldn't a DS emulator be really shite?

Yes and they are i have one for emArio 64 since i couldn't take my DS on vacation so i put an emulator and 64 on a flash drive and played on my parents pc, didn't really work well

I didn't like this game, as usual the start is visually stunning, but i dont like RTS games anyway, just didn't feel like FF to me.

Just finished it. It's awesome took me 18 hours to finish the story and an extra 3 to finish off to get 100%
