The innovative platformer/action game from 5th Cell is heading to Wii according to publisher THQ.

During the company's conference call, president Brian Farrell recently discussed the DS platformer and how a Wii version is on the way, according to Gamasutra. The game allowed players to draw their own character, weapons and environment objects in an innovative adventure for Nintendo's handheld.

THQ also noted that during the last three fiscal quarters, sales for THQ-published DS software has risen 94%, mainly from Drawn to Life.

Farrell noted that the company seeks to extend the franchise onto the Wii, and will announce some additional waggle titles in the near future.

Oh, I had this for DS (it's a rather short game) but I'm confident they could make it really work on Wii. Especially with the higher colour palette for a start...Smilie
