Various reports are suggesting that the legend behind Smash Bros. will appear at an upcoming Brawl tournament.
The upcoming Smash Bros. Brawl tournament will be happening in San Francisco shortly after Sakurai's presentation at GDC this week, and rumours are suggesting he may just stick around to see fans battling out on his latest project.

Many gamers play better under pressure. And I don't know why, but I get the feeling Sakurai will be easily impressed (he didn't do a very good job of balancing some of the characters... meaning he might be oblivious to tiers...)
Also it will be a great way to show Sakurai all the really horrible broken techniques and glitches you can utilise in Brawl, like the tether recovery glitch, and infinite wallshine.
I'd love to see him facepalm himself.

Do you think people like Ken and Aniki will join and pwn all?
Maybe half their techniques won't work anymore...but they'd probably still own.

I don't know. Half of the old Melee pros are retired now. It would be great if Ken showed up to one of them though.
Many of the old Melee pros have already played some Brawl matches. Brawl isn't "Melee 2" though, so while they might be really good, it'll be a long time before people know what can be considered pro level.

Yeah I was watching tournament finals for melee in 2004 and they were terrible! - I think I stood a chance against the champion at that time...but not ken or aniki (aniki is now my fav smasher 
)

Ken & Aniki are some of the best professional Smash Bros players in the world. Ken is the US champion, and Aniki (I don't know if he has an official title or what, but...) is generally one of the best players in the world.
Yeah, I think I may have stood a chance against some earlier tournament matches too... not sure though.
And Aniki is probably my favourite Smasher too. Also he uses some of my mains (Young Link + Samus) and he doesn't wavedash! He's a Smasher to learn from.
