Nintendo Brings Tetris 3D to Wii (April Fools)

Aprils Fools:Sorry folks, this is a lie! There won't be a Tetris 3D (or at least like this).

After recent announcements of a WiiWare version of Tetris, it seems Nintendo are taking a different approach with the console release.
According to Famitsu, Tetris 3D sees a new take on the classic puzzler with players using the Wii remote and nunchuck to manipulate regular Tetris blocks in 3D space.
Details are sketchy, but it seems that clearing multiple lines in different layers earn top points, with blocks also rotatable in the Z-axis for some very bizarre looking gameplay.
Tetris 3D is due for release at the end of 2008.

But I think this is April's Fool Joke, no? Very basic graphics. Even Wii can do better (attention, that's sarcasm).
