Hudson Expects Profit Increase with Nintendo

By Jorge Ba-oh 07.04.2008 5

Hudson's president recently praised Nintendo's Wii and DS with the company seeing an operating profit increase of 53%.

Michihiro Ishizuka recently praised Nintendo's consoles with the company seeing a huge leap in operating profit during the period ending March 31st, 2008. This year the company aim to release 8 Wii titles (most likely WiiWare included), in a bid to meet their goal of $98 million operating profit.

Two years from now will be the time when game-software developers' profits are expected to grow the most, after the winner and loser for consoles becomes clear. I will ensure earnings jump in the next three years by promoting licensing of our games and increasing spending on promotions.

A good Bomberman RPG on Wii or DS plz Smilie

Oh, and also, make Bomberman a Nintendo character so he can be in the next Smash Bros... *sniff*

Just make another 8 Mario Partys.

This really does not surprise me, their overall output on Nintendo consoles is huge.

Wii Bonk and the new Bomberman on Wii Ware are going to be big sellers for them in Japan.

I don't see this as a positive to be honest. It's just adding more to the shovelwere status of the Wii. I mean this just proves that you don't need to put a lot of effort into your games and they'll still sell. Just shove some mini-games in there. Smilie
