Mario Kart TV Spots: Young vs Old

A young school girl takes on her dad as he Mario Karts his way to victory in the latest Japanese TV spots.

Mario Kart slides into stores in Japaon on April 10th, Europe on the 11th and the US on the 27th.

I expect they will do the same sort of thing here this week.

It's being advertised just like a kid's toy Smilie

In children's toy adverts, the boy always has to win, or they won't buy it. The girls usually will decide to buy it or not regardless. It's a psychological thing.

You know I was at the Game Grand Wii event and the top three guys who won at the Portsmouth branch all used the Wii Wheel.

The adverts here in the uk atm are actually ok, and don't show the people playing with the Wii Wheel.

But they should do the same style advert they did for MKDS, that was awsome.

They'll most likely use the "Wii would like to play" ad over here in the US (whether that's shown all over in beyond me)

These Japanese commercials are very... very bizarre.
