Nintendo Tops Develop100 2008 Edition

Nintendo have snuck past EA to gain top spot in this year's Develop 100.

The annually published book ranks the world's best game development studios based on the sales of their products in the UK.

Wow, it certainly takes some doing to top EA in such things. Well done Ninty, those figures are certainly amazing, I hope it keeps up for a while yet with more great games next year..

lol I prefer the companies that are nearer the bottom of the list...like Hal, Atlus and Retro Studios.
Nintendo is the only company I really like near the top Smilie

It is quite amazing that Nintendo has beaten EA who have many famous and strong selling franchies.

EA Montreal have an amazing plethora of games to come this year still, so next years may not be so favourable.. It all depends on what is announced at E3 for Ninty I suppose.
