Mario Kart Wii Dominates UK Launch

Early reports have suggested a huge dominance by Mario Kart Wii in the UK Charts.

Industry website Next-Gen reports, if you tally up the first week sales for other Mario games - Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers and Super Paper Mario, it doesn't come close to the currently unknown Mario Kart figures.

1. Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo)
2. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (Sony)
3. Mario & Sonic at The Olympic games (Sega)
4. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (Konami)
5. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (Ubisoft)
6. Condemned 2 (Sega)
7. Wii Play (Nintendo)
8. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Activision)
9. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision)
10. Carnival - Funfair Games (2K Play)

Precise figures will be available at a later stage.

Yea how is Rosalina a heavy weight character. I think there is a way to unlock her without having Mario Galaxy save data. Dunno how though.

I can't quite see Mario kart selling that well...but i dunno.

Imagine what smash will be like then!
