Update: Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe has been confirmed for next-generation consoles via the official website, however doesn't appear to be heading to Wii/DS.
Original story:
A promo image for the upcoming entry in the Mortal Kombat series suggests a DC Comics cross-over.
Rumour: A supposed concept artwork reveals a bizarre possibility for the next Mortal Kombat: A Marvel vs Capcom-styled crossover between the gruesome antics of Mortal Kombat and the comic book adventures of DC (Batman, Superman, the Flash etc).
The image, and game is currently still under wraps but is likely to be revealed later today.

This would never work because all of the characters from MK have magic and they can use hooks out of their hands and what can Crapman (oops sorry I meant batman do)? i mean it would never work even it was released. Batman is supposed to beat up low level thugs and villans like the Joker not Subzero.

There is no blood in the game, DC did not allow it. It will be 3D like SF4.

yeah I laughed when I saw the trailer of this on G4. Also have any of you actually read some of Batmans comics he has been through some gruesome times so the gore in this game should be nothing. Also the Marvel versus DC should've happen before Marvel VS Capcom atleast thats the way I always felt.
Uh If the Bat can find a way to be beat Superman(its pretty obvious) I'm pretty sure he could beat Subzero.

The game looks like it might be mediocre at best. The game play will probably be great (including the new airborne fighting mechanics, but thats only if you have control of it)
I don't know bout that. I think since there are already so many marvel twisted Games they chose DC to give those DC characters more shine time. Also I wouldn't say DC is lacking in characters both them and Marvel tend to have their all star players You just have a harder time remembering the Names of the DC cast.

Actually there is blood in it, you can clearly see it in the trailer, as they punch each other blood splats out.
Thats probably going to be about as gory as it gets though.
