Agetec have decided to release the upcoming Archime DS (LOL) as a buy-online only. The quirky DS game will not hit retail, but instead will only ship from the company's official pages.
LOL will be available from the Official website from May 30th 2008.

We love LOL, and think it's a completely unique game, however we think it'll be tough to sell into the retailers. So we decided to release it exclusively online. Hopefully it catches some attention like Electroplankton did. LOL will be available through Agetec.com on the day of its release, and we're currently looking for an online retailer to do exclusive pre-orders with.

Gah. I thought from the headline that this would be about it having online.
But it's still only local multiplayer though. And so if I bought it it *might* be played *once*.

Cheers guys, I've updated the article/title
Weird way of marketing it. A good idea would be to charge a small sum for a download for the M4/DS rom readers.

Pretty much, which is why it's uber-budget-priced and not going to be in shops.
JB, I think that would be illegal.
