You're allowed to vote more than once?

This isn't exactly a fair poll is it? In any case, go Shigsy!

Has Mudkip ever been featured on a TIME cover?

Go go Olimar's dad!.

The Shigs rules and deserves recognition regardless to whether this place on the list is justified or not.

Link AND Zelda's dad...?

Ew incest! Smilie

Actually I always thought some other guy created the Zelda world and characters. I think his name was Tanabe? Miyamoto used that to create the first Zelda game.

But I can't find any info on the internet about it, so it might have been an untrue story.

And uh yeah, Nintendo fans massively voting for Miyamoto isn't cool.

That list is a load of shit. George Clooney? He's just an actor. Shigeru? He makes games, for fuck sake. How on earth are these people 'influential' in any way other than within their own little fields of expertise. They're not important people on a global scale.

how as far as i know it only lets one vote per ip (cause it's only letting me vote once)

The guy who Time Magazine think's is the second "Most influential person to shape our world" I haven't even heard of. This list is rubbish.

This list is just a pile of wank. Surely polilticians are the influential people.

-Have you any idea what it's like to be a Fembot living in a Manbot's Manputer's world?
-What?

I find most famous politicians the scum of the earth TBH...

In any case, this poll is very broken.

EDIT: Miyamoto does deserve a place on the front cover sometime though.

Or I guess I thought I was voting more than once, but It didn't send the rest. Cause then he'd be way ahead, I think.

Indeed, George Bush was the first person to pop into my head.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with how influential a person is.

Oh come on, how can you say that? Tiger Woods is obviously the most influential...golfer...ever...yeah. Like the time he ended poverty in third world countries with his awesome...golfing skills...maybe.

But yeah, the whole poll is stupid. There are probably less than 10 people who have ever majorly influenced the world...and most of them are probably dead. To be honest, I can\'t really even see how it\'s possible to have influence on a global scale...one can make an impact on a global scale...like Hitler...but that\'s not really influential...is it?

Also, what\'s with the stupid 1-100 scale? Why not just tally votes?
And what\'s with being able to vote more than once?

And also, at the end of the day, it\'s a magazine article, who cares? Smilie

Who the hell is \'Rain\'? Smilie

Maybe it's Tay Zonday! I found him pretty damn influential.

If you ask me, William Shakespeare should win this thing all the time. Well he's the most influential person I can think of atm.

This is the only reason I vaguely know who he is:

Go Colbert!

My impression of Rain is that he thinks is he is a cross between God and Michael Jackson. How's that for a mental image?
*Rain video I found on youtube*

The videos's kind of funny.

How is Tiger Woods influential? He's just good at golf.... he doesn't influence people even in his own field.

There are probably less than 10 people who have ever majorly influenced the world...and most of them are probably dead.

If we're talking about influences at any point in history then surely there's loads.

Newton is the first person that springs to mind, but that's probably because I'm studying physics at Uni. (Einstein, Maxwell, Galileo etc would also be right up there.)

If we\'re talking modern times, I think I\'d have to say Richard Dawkins. He\'s a role model for arguers everywhere.

I voted for Shigsy anyway, go figure.

Shigeru Miyamoto would easily be one of the most influential people in the game industry, and games are quite popular these days. Who doesn't know who Mario is?

Going down another road...Shigsy is the biggest influence video games. Now games apparently influences people to do dangerous stunts and kill other people. Shigsy is a bad influence!
