The Mummy Confirmed for Wii and DS

The Videogame-tie-in to The Mummy; Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, is planned for release on DS and Wii later in the year.

Developers Eurocom will be taking care of the Playstation 2 and Wii versions, and A2M will handle the DS game. Sierra Entertainment will be Publishing all versions of the title.

Bill Kispert, boss of Universal Pictures, stated the following;

The Mummy is one of the most distinctive and expansive franchises in Universal's portfolio, and there is inherent gameplay in the property.
The new film amps up the action, introduces a ruthless new villain and takes our heroes to incredible new locations. We are thrilled to bring all these attributes to life in this game.
