Avalon Code Brings a Marvelous RPG to DS

By Jorge Ba-oh 11.05.2008 5

Marvelous Interactive have announced Avalon Code for Nintendo DS.

The latest edition of Famitsu reveals the adventures of Yumil and Tia who enter a world of destruction. You end up finding a special book that allow elements that should be taken to the new world or changed to be jotted down.

The funky book allows for some unique puzzle elements, directly influencing what previously appeared to be unbeatable, i.e. changing something in the book via touch screen could affect the game world.

Avalon Code comes jam packed with live, real-time battle sequences bringing high quality visuals and combat from the team who redeveloped Final Fantasy IV for DS.

Avalon Code will be released to Japan this Fall.

looks very promising

Visually looks pretty good, loving the book idea - hopefully will head to the west!

Nice to see Matrix getting the chance to work on something non-Square Enix for a change!

Oh this could potentially be quite good. The visuals are quite nice.

It looks great visually!
I think it would be great to get only for it's visuals.

I'm addicted to RPGs, I never even play through all of them. This one looks good. Interesting story!

I find your lack of faith disturbing!
