The latest edition of CoroCoro magazine has confirmed the 3rd title in the D&P Pokemon generation, Pokemon Platinum.
According to Serebii.net, the obligatory 3rd installment in each Pokémon generation will be arriving in Japanese shores this autumn. Translated as Pokémon Platinum, it sees improvements and new forms in existing critters, including Giratina, Regigigas and Shaymin.
Rumours also suggest that there'll be a new look to the battle interface, alongside a Wi-Fi enabled underground section.

You mean like walking around together in the underground, but being able to do it anywhere in the game? Yeah, I've wanted that for ages. Would be amazing to travel around and battle together in co-op.

And yeah, I've wanted the CoOp thing for as long as I can remember. Nothing too huge, just 2-4 good friends travelling the region together, as is always implied by the anime, and some parts in games etc.

Definitely shoulda been Opal. At least that isn't exactly unsuited to Giratina.
And yeah, I've wanted the CoOp thing for as long as I can remember. Nothing too huge, just 2-4 good friends travelling the region together, as is always implied by the anime, and some parts in games etc.

your memory is shoddy, i got it the day it came out over here, and when you came and stayed over i finally cought mespirit, ugh what an annoying pok?n to catch.
dude get brain training, it may help you remember to breath... ( it was diamond i got)

Speaking of Pokémon, Onix is one of the lamest Pokémon ever made.
In the anime it's all like OSHI BROCK HAS AN ONIX! But really a Geodude is far more likely to pwn a Pikachu than an Onix, because in all the Pokémon games up until D/P/P, Onix was just a rock type, and Electric works perfectly fine against rock type, it just fails against Ground.
So really Ash's Pikachu shouldn't have had a problem beating Onix.
And that's my series inconsistency annoyance of the day.
Also, Pokémon Crystal didn't exactly work well with Gold/Silver. Not to mention Green doesn't work with Red/Blue/Yellow. There isn't a necessary pattern. It definitely worked well with R/S/E though.

Actually, Onyx has always been Rock/Ground. I know, I've had one in pretty much every Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold team I've ever had. It was practically the only decent ground Pokemon I could have because I couldn't trade for Golem.
