A recent listing has suggested the first titles to come from Platinum Games, including one title exclusive to Wii.
The listing, stated by Kotaku, had appeared on Videogaming247.com before being removed. It consisted of 3 games that were to be published by Sega, including an exclusive Mature title for Wii.
Platinum Games, formerly Seeds Inc, and ODD Incorporated, consists of Key Members of the now-defunct Clover Studio, makers of Okami, Viewtiful Joe and Godhand.
The existence of these games has not yet been confirmed or denied by the development studios.

A trailer depicting the title Madworld has hit the 'net, and seems to be genuine.
No confirmation from Platinum Games at this time.

-Bayonetta, directed by DMC creator Hideki Kamiya, and is described by the site's correspondent as a 'stylish action game' with 'a witch battling angels'. Apparently she has guns on her feet.
-A science-fiction RPG for the DS called Infinite Line, where you play as a starship captain, customising your ship and crew.
-A Wii game called MadWorld. ...it's, 'Black and white Sin City graphics, with red blood. Ultra ultra violent. Fatality moves like shoving a post through someone's head. Chainsaw on your right arm.'
-A science-fiction RPG for the DS called Infinite Line, where you play as a starship captain, customising your ship and crew.

Both of their names begin with J, have 1 syllable, 3 letters, an original Superhero name, and are generally rather leet superheroes! And both of them had 2 proper games before they died!

7051 759 15.02.2007 LinkyshinksWell Capcom need to show the new company and Hideki some F ing respect first of all. In the wake of the whole Okami Wii shun I cannot see VJ Wii happening via Platinum. Japanese companies are very big on respect and honour as a result what Capcom did ruined any chance. It will likely go to ARIKA if it does get proposed.

Like animated films only being an art-style and NOT a label for Kid's movies, 'ultra violent games' are no indication for good or bad. It's an art style, too, like Sin City was - only in games. I agree with aburnett in terms, that it has to prove itself of being good. It isn't a good game right from the start only because it's violent. If it's done well, then it's good.
But it will have more press and gets more attention being one of the only brutal games for Wii. Maybe it is an advantage for the game's sales, who knows...?!( Edited 13.05.2008 09:13 by Laurelin )
