FIFA Football 2005 (GameCube) Reader Review

I really quite liked FIFA Football 2004, but this latest iteration takes the Michael a bit in my opinion. It may look great and have the potential to last forever, but the gameplay simply isn't up to much at all. The much-touted 'first touch' system just doesn't work, and when compared to Pro Evo 4, or even FIFA 2004 it pales in comparison.

EA have tried too hard to put in too much and consequently FIFA Football 2005 is a messy combination of nice ideas, poor execution and a blatant lack of knowledge as to what is most important in a football game: real footie, not rigid, predictable 10-0 scorelines over and over again...
