Pokémon Yellow Version (Game Boy) Reader Review

Pokemon yellow was Nintendo's way of fixing all of the previous glitches in red and blue, although there are still yellow version glitches. The story line basicly followed the Anime story (Ash and Pikachu). During gameplay you meet characters that seem similar to characters in anime, although misty and brock do not follow the protaganist around. Pikachu, however does follow the character wherever he walks and reacts to events in game, such as: pikachu crying inside Lavander Town's Pokemon tower and when the character fishes the pikachu is seen hiding playfully under a bucket. There are noticeable differences between the red/blue games and yellow. Blue's pokemon are different, in red/blue he chooses the opposite pokemon that has an advantage against your starter, while in yellow he grabs eevee before you can. Also in yellow the infamous team rocket from the anime attack the protagonist, but not for his pikachu. The graphics of this game are a little better than the ones of Red/blue.
The replay value of this game, as with any other pokemon rpg,is good. The game is enjoyable to any old school player who just want to play it although there is not much to do after beating the pokemon league.
