The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is really, really odd. If this is the kind of cartoon kids are watching these days it's no wonder there's so many asbos flying around. It manages to be simultaneously cute, violent, and surreal all at once, but sadly it struggles to ever really be any good.
The premise of the game is thus There is a vague reason for all the brawling, however
Thankfully, the massive amount of weapons available goes some way towards combating the limited control system and the tedious pace. There's dozens and dozens of usable items, including brain-sucking guns, giant lasers, a hilarious gun that fires panes of glass at your enemies
Graphically, Grim is acceptable, if not outstanding. The game features a cel-shaded look that, on the whole, performs functionally. There's often quite a lot going on at once, and the game engine doesn't struggle
Gameplay
5
It's entertaining and amusing initially, but there's a massive drop as you play on. It simply doesn't cater for anyone with an attention span.
Graphics
6
It's functional, and somewhat stylised, but certainly nothing special.

Those catchphrases are enough to make you want to bash your brains out. Put a CD on whilst you play.
Value

Completists have unlockable extras to chase down, but it won't take long, and everyone else simply won't bother.

C3 Score Madcap nonsense that is undeniably entertaining at first, but ultimately far too flawed, short, and ill-conceived to be worth buying. Worth a rent if you can't see anything better on the shelf./10
