PSP gamelist.....wow

have my Xbox, Gamecube and whatever to keep me happy.

I do believe the DS will be seen a hell of a lot around UK schools mainly thanks to pictochat.... Whereas you wouldn't dare bring PSP to school incase it was stolen, or worse..... incase the battery ran out (slight attempt to rouse a smile from you guys )

On a more serious note thought, I want the DS to do exactly what Nintendo said it wasnt... Be in direct competition with the PSP.

Both machines are good, and they deserve to have a lengthly competition, with neither of them becoming phased out, or 'un-popular'.

Tony Hawk's a Frogger are the only games that even slightly interest me there.

I think it's basically games that have been anounced so far tbh. Doesn't seem that impressive now, does it.

Nah, the Dreamcast is the smart mans PS2.

Mercury, Lumines, Rigde Racers, Tales of Eternia and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII interest me. Though on the DS I'm interested in Polarium, Yoshi's Touch and Go, Wario Ware: Touched, Nintendogs, Kirby, Another Code(if it ever makes it's way to Europe), Mario Kart, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Zelda, Advance Wars, whatever Square-Enix has planned for the DS, and maybe Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon.

I think that CC:FF7, Tales of Eternia, Metal Gear Acid only interest me. The rest is either cheap feeling tosh or sports games.
Even so, it's good that the PSP has so many people backing it and i'm sure that other people wil like the games that we do not.

Then of course the Nintendo games themselves - it's clear to see which has the better upcoming games and more good developers making well known games behind it!

And Square are making Final Fantasy games for the PSP, what are you on about? A new Vagrant Story, oh shit that would kick arse...

Exactly the same for me. At the moment the only game I want for the PSP is Dynasty Warriors, Pro Evo and GTA, so until I see these out the multimedia possibilites are the only things that interest me. So to that end, I may just get one of those 20GB MP3 players that has a screen. A helluva lot cheaper.

To be honest Chris I can't feel arsed finding the list of confirmed games.

But things like Xenosage, FF (two different games), Dragon Quest & the other 3 S-E games, the multiple Namco, Konami, Sega etc games.

All I see on that PSP list is ports from PS2 (bar a few) - the DS has dozens more original and new games not found on anything else. That's what puts it miles ahead of the PSP, imo.

The DS has poor versions of 3rd party games which are better on the PSP and use the bottom screen for maps and stats. Mainly. Then it has a handful of Nintendo games which are decent and show what the DS can do. I really can't see anything much apart from Advance Wars, Castlevania, and Mario Kart that interests me beyond launch. Obviously there'll be a new Zelda and Mario, but when?

Really, go to DS IGN, look at the games list A-Z, and make a quick list of the best games. I'd like to know there are more than I think.

When all the fanboys (on both sides) get their heads out of the clouds, it'a actually easy to see that both consoles have quite a weak launch line-up. I still prefer the DS one though, as it has Mario 64 and WarioWare. None of the other s really interest me, other than Mr. Driller.

Tony Hawk's, WipeOut and Frogger are the only PSP I would even look into getting.

I'm really sorry Chris butthat kicks the living shit out of the PSP's list that's stuffed with PS2 ports - the DS has so many new, unique and awesome game my overdraft is currently weeping.

Respect the whole 'try to defent other systems' shit you have going but the DS list IS better, and by a large amount, than the PSP list.

Heck vitrually every game I picked out as being great, or has the potential to be, is exclusive to the DS - not a watered down console game

Almost every DS game might come out in Europe for sure (no japanese named games)

Your missing Dynasty Warriors from the list too '10do, but I'm sure we missed some PSP games so they all balance out. A lot more appealing than the PSP games...although I still want The Godfather...
