Super Princess Peach

I finally received this from my good friends at VideoGamesPlus.ca earlier on this week, and I've been greatly anticipating playing it.

I must say, at first I thought this game was a real disappointment... The first few levels are so easy it makes you want to claw your eyes out for ever buying the game if the rest of it is that easy.

Although, I've been playing it a little bit more and it's been getting better. I dunno what my total game time is, but it must total to like... and hour-hour and half maybe and I'm already on the boss stage of level 2. I think its annoying how at the beginning of the boss stages theres a box that actually tells you what to do, but if you buy this game and want to work it out for yourself, just dont look at the hint box (which I havent done for the boss stage that I'm on!).

I'm just hoping that it gets better. The levels on each world are all very same-y and theres not much distinction between them (unlike Yoshi's Island - best game ever IMO )

Does anyone else have this? Is anyone else even considering buying it??

I would get it but i have 2 test...eh I mean i was gonna but I heard it was a bit on the easy side so i'll just wait for Super Mario Bros. Plus theres just other DS games i'll be getting higher up on my want list.

I got a play of the Japanese version and did warn everyone about the difficulty level in my superb preview

I can never get past that surname when I'm readin your articles Hazuki... can you put your name at the bottem, so I can take you seriously?

it is different from other mario games... but in the way that... I dunno, theres a little bit more to do. i.e you have to 'buy' things with the coins that you collect, you can find minigames within the levels to play at other times. and you have to find three Toads in each level. I dunno what you get if you find them all... probably something pink

I want to get it but peach kinds of turns me off the game and it makes it feel like its not a proper mario game.

Even if this game was good, I'd never be able to get it. Just imagine your mates/girl friend's face when they see a copy of Super Princess Peach in your bedroom.

Thankfully, it sounds like it has too many flaws anyway, especially when it comes to difficulty.

Actually, I've heard that it's ace aside the easy difficulty and really picks up around world 3.

Hmm - I don't think I'd ever buy Super Princess Peach, but I'd sure give it a go - seems quite a cool platformer.

I might get it, it would go nicely with my new handbag.

I might look into it if I wasn't going to get Metroid Prime: Hunters in 11 days.

I'm quite interested in it, but like some of you have said I'd be horrified if a friend camje over & saw my copy, & I probably wouldn't even be able to walk into the shop, pick it up & read the blurb without feeling horribly embarrased!

I've now played some of it. It's quite fun so far, very easy but enjoyable. I'm on the first boss, but I've not had too much chance to play as of yet.
