Depends what game you're playing. With Halo 3 you can take a guest online with you who'll appear as 'yourgamertag(1)'. There aren't too many games that make use of the feature though, from my experience.

You can only use the avatars availiable through market place and what MS give you.

Only way you could get custom avatars is probably through the live vision camera.

I think I avoided posting in here when I first got my Box because I didn't have a Gold account at the time.

I still don't, but I'm sure I will at some point, so here you go!

Add it if you want too, I play CoD4, Halo 3, Team Fortress 2, Turok and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Gears of War and Soul Calibur 4.

Feel free to add me; I'll probably add a couple more of you. I don't tend to actually play online a whole lot, though, except in quirkier things like Katamari (when there are actually people online). I will compete with scores on things like Geometry Wars 2, though, and will probably want to Castle Crash...

Any advice on returning it and getting shit-hot service? I know Knighty's had 3 or 4 hundred.
