I'm so pissed off

*Ahem* As pissed off as I am about this.... There is a possibility of 100000000000000009, to 1 that this MIGHT come out on something else!... I guess.. you never know.

Anywhoo. 4 characters.... what's that?!? 4!?!? On a racing game?! Oh well, at least it's a proper sidescroll racing Sonic game, on foot, like EVERYONE ALWAYS WANTED. EVEN NINTENDO FANS!!

THIS kinda frustrating... yet another hedgehog, who is white, & not only that, it looks like Shadow (EVERYONE has had enough of him now) has a main role in the next biggest Sonic game.

There is a load of new info on SONIC The Hedgehog 2006, as well as finding out about 2 new characters (one being a damsel in distress, the other being a white hedgehog) there is also info on the levels, the return of Adventure Fields, new action stage stuff, & new screens, it's loking sweet, the graphics for the game are as good, if not better than the FMV cutscenes we had in Sonic Heroes.

Another thing, from that E3 promo art of Sonic 2k6, we find out that the game is indeed getting a PC release, so those who don't want to get it on PS3 or 360, you could get it on PC. I'm still wondering if a Wii version will be announced at E3 this year. Anywhoo, sweet looking, both games have great visuals, excluding Shadow The Hedgehog, that's one thing Sonic Team are pretty good at; graphics.

I will get a 360 if this doesn't get a Wii release... so my Sonic Rampage continues!!

It's not such a big deal anyway, dude. It'll probably be another stupid sonic racing game similar to the piece of crap sonic riders was.

*ahem* To those who didn't already know, I PERSONALLY like Sonic Riders.

Also, this is a Sidescrolling racer. It's sidescrolling, like all the 2D Sonic games you love so much

That is pretty sexy stuff, I'm not tooo dead with annoyance (although fairly ) as it's not exactly a 'proper' Sonic game as it seems more set on racing rather than exploring (need a bit of both!).

Still one to add to the list of games I might get one day in the far, far future.

Maybe I can convince one of my PSP owning friends to buy one/lend me it.

Note to Sega: We want to se e a new proper sonic game, not a half baked racing game.

DS has already had Sonic rush for the past 6 months or so!

It's a racing game that looks a bit crap. I wouldn't worry about it. I wonder why SEGA continue to release Sonic games on Sony platforms when they don't sell that well on them...

Why don't they just make the game 2D!!!!!! It will still feel 3D with the camera panning around and out when doing loop circles and stuff! Imagine if it was true 2D! they could make it look spectacular. Ah well i'll reserve my judgement untill reviews and stuff.

Agree! However SEGA seem to be moving further and gurther away from 'proper Sonic' (eg Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders etc) other then the GBA games and of course Sonic Rush, which, while bringing virtually nothing new to Sonic games are still good fun!

Personally I'm not really annoyed. Sonic is cool but I'm just convinced this'll be another average game. SEGA have been pretty fair at giving all consoles a few games to be honest.

Whoa whoa, if its as good as an updated Sonic R then I sure as hell want it.

I want it, but I can't get it, It'll be like a whole game just for the multiplayers of the old Sonic games... maybe even a CoOp mode like in Sonic Advance 3?

It looks like a mix of Sonic Heroes style visuals and Sonic R style gameplay. It looks OK from my point of view, we don't have much but you can kinda imagine what it's going to play like.

2D version of Sonic R a possibility? Maybe!

Now, you all say it's gonna be crap, but everyone liked Sonic Rush!! This is basically Sonic Rush multiplayer beefed up... big time.

I like Sonic R, I like Sonic Rush, so I reckon I could like this. If I ever get to play it that is.
