Gameplay before graphics is blatantly what Konami are trying to achieve. So this is the 360's incarnation of Pro Evolution Soccer 6. How many will be buying?

I'm really, really, really looking forward to PES6. The video I've seen of it running looks nice enough visually but the actual mechanics look a lot more refined. Roll on October (that should give them enough time to fully sort out the transfers)!

Every football game I've played has pissed me off. I just don't how you're sposed to tackle when everything is so unresponsive and..well....I dunno. I just hate the buggers.

But the feeling of achievement when you score knowing you have successfully beaten the terribly unfair A.I programming and unresponsive controls is just great

Will no doubt be the best yet but PES is rapidly approaching it's peak. Full on 11 vs 11 online master league is really the only place they can go from here. Everything is so refined.

Looks like there wearing white rubbish bags with holes cut in them. I guess it's cause it's a current gen game aswell so it's just a Current gen + game.
Would have been good if MS had of gotten full exlusivity and allow them to take the graphics up full notch.

Sports games are boring, that is something I can play in real life.

I don't play soccer in real life, and I sure as hell ain't paying money to play it on a console. Fuck soccer!

Looks alright but if youve got one football game there's no point getting another. There basically all the same and a waste of money.

Mario games look alright but if you've got one Mario game then there's no point in getting another as they're basically all the same and thus are a waste of money.

I agree with this. They haven't even seemed to put in any effort with the graphics so there's nothing new. If you have one, you have em all.

Not true, the PES series refines gameplay with each version and offers a distinctly different footballing experience to FIFA, TIF, SS etc etc.

For example, PES 6 is all about handing total control to the player and bringing individuality to each player. So players will now run as they do in real life, real life shimmies. Also you will now beable to take set pieces quickly and catch the defense on the hop, bringing a whole new level of tactical awareness to the game.

Oh and as for playing it instead of playing real footy, well they compliment eachother instead of eating up eachothers time. Go outside and play footy, come in when tired and crash on the sofa playing PES for hours. Sorted!
