Biggest and Best Game Deals: Bow to Azuardo!

How much is Journey by itself usually? I don't really want the unfinished swan but I've been consisdering getting Journey for a while.

Journey is normally £9.99 and hasn't seen a drop, so this deal is great. I was gonna get Swan once this deal came round anyway, but this just doubles the quality since I really wanted Journey the most for a long time!

Just bought the Journey and Unfinished Swan deal! Now to consider whether or not I want to buy Spyro 1/2 now or wait til later (I hacked them for my PSP but man I'm happy they're finally on EU PSN)

As for PSPlus it's been increasingly tempting lately.. but it would be plain stupid of me to buy a subscription for something I won't have time to use during my final year at University. I can only hope there will be some new good deals after I finally have time to game regularly again!

Hmm, well I'm a huge fan of PS+, as people here can probably tell, but it's really one of the best services I've had the pleasure of being part of for console games, so I always try to spread the word of when there are deals for the service. The fact they've now transferred it over to Vita is fantastic. I've already downloaded the likes of Uncharted and Gravity Rush for free for when I one day get a Vita.

I would say get Plus now whilst it's on offer, but if you don't have time for it, maybe you're doing the right thing. I'm not 100% sure if you can simply buy it now, though, but only activate it later. I don't know if you can do that, but if yes, then that could be a good way to do it by getting it at its discounted price then maybe activating it for the month that has free games you want.

Just finished Journey earlier! Moving on to Swan next.

As far as I know, when you download PSPlus free games they're only free for a specific amount of time or until your subscription runs out? Because yeah I don't really have that sort of time at the moment :c I worry that if I bought Plus I'd be so busy with work that all the games on offer would have run out before I'd have the chance to play 'em/

Yes, they run out when your subscription ends.

I asked the question to neogaf, and they say that PS+ activates as soon as you buy it.

But they also reiterate the fact that it's still completely worth buying it - more so at the discount it is now.

If you subscribe now, you can just add the games that you want to your download list and then play them once you get your free time. At least that way you won't be missing out on any potential games that you really would have liked to get if they come onto PS+ (either free, or at bargain prices).

With 25% off, it's still really worth it even if you aren't gonna use the service for a while.

Morrisons deals
People apparently saying they've seen Uncharted 3, Sonic Generations and others for £10 in their local Morrisons. But others have said they've managed to get it for £5, and some even said that it scanned at 98p along with other games! Worth checking out your local Morrisons just in case.

I would have been slightly gutted about that! I am slightly annoyed that Zavvi have reduced the price of Wii U's Premium packs to £279 and with Epic Mickey for £289!

I was going to wait...but then i got impatient....so i bought it at GAME at retail as looking around launch day I couldnt find it online in stock. So i bought it there and then. 

It was £359.99 with BO2 and a premium Wii U. It also came with a screen protector and a sleeve for the game pad....

I hadn't anticipated for the price to drop so suddenly due to the fact that console prices don't normally drop so suddenly, and that Nintendo had already claimed that they were already making a loss on it.

Slightly annoyed, if i waited i could have saved around £60, but i guess that is the way the cookie crumbles eh!

I already wondered why there were like no price wars for the Wii U during the launch period, like there were for the 3DS. Maybe retailers thought they'd sell them anyway and now they finally realised that they need to entice people with some good deals too and not just sit back and relax at full 'RRP'.
