Oh yeah, there's Professor Layton as well, another series which I didn't play yet. Do you think if the crossover gets localised, would it be useful for getting a good grasp of both franchises? I don't think I've read anything about how the game plays or something yet...Smilie

Excessive speculation leads to unrealistic expectations, which ultimately lead to disappointment.

I for one think it will be localised. As for gameplay, it's a mystery to all of us, but the developers promise the best aspects of both franchises will make it through.

And as a crossover I'm assuming it'll be detached from the main continuity of both series'. Luke is younger so for Layton it's set during the prequel trilogy, and as for Phoenix it's most likely set shortly after the events of his third game.

One day I will be a real life anime.

Oh, that's great to hear then! Smilie I'll definitely get it if the developers keep that promise. Them being detached from the main continuity isn't a problem for me as story is generally one of the least important aspects of any game for me, except for Okami and Okamiden. I want every little bit of story from those games. Smilie

I really do hope Layton vs. Phoenix Wright gets localised, same for AAI2. Capcom need to pull their finger out. Smilie

Not really appropriate for this thread, but I hope we get the first title in the Layton prequel trilogy soon...

I assure you AA is different, because AA isn't a game, it's an interactive story.

Basically story is AA's whole point. For the crossover title the story will surely be self contained and amazing, having the best storytellers from both Capcom and Level5 working on it, but as for the AA series itself, story is definitely the most important aspect.
