Nice list Grumbler, Lots of decent Wii stuff on that... ?

No Longer Temporarily Banned.

Most of the worthwhile looking Wii stuff has incredibly vague dates. You also have to factor in the pathetic regional release differences that Wii publishers know they can get away with. There's quite a lot of Japanese stuff out this year that will clearly not come over here for ages and I've been quite generous anyway.

Wii thank God looks a little more fleshed out for end of the year, shame it's mostly because of Nintendo themselves rather than 3rd party. Seriously hope they get into gear for '08, the amount of times I have to listen to Cassamamassmassassina go on about secret projects and good/big stuff apparently coming gets grating after a while.

Hopefully some stuff to look forward to next year will be announced at the e3 events because there's not a great deal that I know about. Some of this stuff will be delayed of course.

Cubed3 Member

Metroid Prime 3 probably has a few delays ahead of it yet - Super Paper Mario no excuse though!

TBA 2007

Even though MGS is shitty. I also think SSB is, 'a bit shitty', and that SSBB will be, 'a bit shitty'. But I don't want to die.

Beat me to it there, Sly.

MGS is in no way shit! What makes you say such a thing?

I think I had a good reason for not liking it that I can't remember. But mainly because I was awful at it. Hehe.

MGS is amazing. The tanker of MGS2 is alright, the rest of it is complete shite. Didn't play MGS3 because of this.

I've added MGS4 to the list but I'm not convinced it will be out this year. Feels like one of those games that will drag on and on before it comes out.

I found the first MGS to be incredibly boring and haven't bothered to play any other ones since... Splinter Cell seems infinitely better for stealth, which was pretty crap in MGS to be honest... Probably better in the others admittedly, but I'm not really prepared to spend money on trying the others after palying the first one.

Metal Gear Solid was one of the best PS1 games released...its infinitly better than 2. Only thing that can beat it is 3 which is a gem of a game. I strongly suggest that you play them...well, Metal Gear 2 was shit, but you still play it anyway, get a mutual hating for the lead.

Telling someone a game is shit doesn't really seem like the best way to convince them to play it...
