A request. For those in the US: When the game is released, please act like it has not so we pal gamers can pretend we're not lesser beings. Thank you.

Hopes:
-The game gets a decent online mode.
-There aren't any clone characters.
-Lots of big stages.
-Sonic.
-Release date no later than January 20th.

Characters we need in this game:
-One or two female Fire Emblem characters (and at least one magic-user from FE)
-More females in general
-A couple of Sonic characters (preferably Sonic and Tails)
-...Me!

But yes, I really hope we get some epic stages to play on. Online play is also a must, but I have fears that Nintendo might not come through in that area.

Nintendo originally said the main reason they were making a sequal for Super smash brothers brawl is so it could have Wifi multiplayer...so it will definately happen...as for number of players...it'll probably be four which is a shame...though with smash brothers 8 players could just be too confusing....especially with all the tiny 2 or 3 platform stages they've shown of so far.

Where are the epic stages!?!?!? Hyrule was my favourite stage on Brawl.

Don't even have a Wii yet - but am hoping / begging for a Christmas Wii. So even I will have to endure some gloating from you first day folk.

I'm excited about how we've got a character per week for the last few weeks, and I'm loving the animal crossing logo which they've given us (maybe indicating more animal crossing content is to come!)

can't wait to see what's in store for us this week. Say, if they give us another character per week until December 7...

hehe... Hyrule was fun for a while, but then you realise that the bottom part is really unfair. Whoever is on higher damage goes down the bottom, the other person refuses to fight in an area where it's 5 times harder to achieve the KO and... This is a smilie

I always referred to that area as "The Cage". If someone with high points goes down there, there is no escape for them. Crush them at will and then aim them out to "sea" at the appointed time.

ANYWAY. I would like to see some kind of Fire Emblem stage. That would be pretty neat.

i loved super smash bros so no i can't wait for this one to come out!!! i like how they added snake and meta knight into the game. I hope they have more pokemon to get as secret characters

Sorry I have a Priest now and he really does only have to smite things to kill them.

The Hyrule Stage was awesomesauce, hopefully they'll have more sprawning multi-levelled stages like that.

So are the 'official C3' updates going to appear here now instead of separate news posts? Would probably streamline the entire smash bros business a bit.

Nah, still news, this is just the official discussion thread. Part of the reason I felt we needed a new one was because of how large the old one was getting. If it makes you feel better though, I'll include a link to your old topic so people can always remember who created the first one.

The Brawl Logo looks like a nike tick.

I'd like to see some Captain Falcon, and prehaps some of his levels, they were always some of the most interactive, much unlike what they have been giving us.

They should have a Zero Suit Falcon!

Nicely put together Jacob, keeps all the info in one place.

Anyway, as for the recent slew of flat stages, I think it's possible for most to be like this. They did say that they wanted to slow it down a bit from Melee, so maybe flat stages are adaquate enough now.
