Yeah, personally I won't be playing SSE to unlock them, but will be doing the other more interesthing methods
through SSE sounds too simple and "boring" if you know what I mean.

the new dojo is sort of going to be good with the spoiler tags, but then that means almost every update will be in spoiler tags doesn't it?![]()

wait i can't say about the new character bit here huh... bye?

So u can unlock characters in 2 methods? Like the SSE OR the other methods? I thought it wud need all of em together...

That would be cool too, the harder the better.
I think the other methods are for people who enjoy more interesting and challenging things, but they're also unlockable in SSE quite easily.
and willoughbyjd, use spoiler tags ![]()

Yeh I wouldnt like to just run through the SSE and have the characters all unlocked... I loved the challenge Melee offered to unlock the characters and even if they werent hard, they added longitivity to the game. Like classic as 10 different chars. If I was just to complete SSE once and have most the roster I would be pretty dissapointed...

i want them to hurry and tell me how to get
so i can see what there move set looks like.( Edited 03.03.2008 14:37 by SuperLink )

Did you not catch the part about no spoilers in this thread? ¬_¬
That's what the Spoiler Thread is for.

oh, i didn't think that was a spoiler, well thanks for telling me and thanks for putting the spoiler there for me don't want anyone else to know.

just wondering whats everyones opinion on pokemon trainer? reckon he'll be any good?

yeh if you can select at the beginning it will be good, the only thing that sucks is the stamina but still makes for a challenge

Hmmmm... Pokemon Trainer... its Charizard spamming time! PT looks ok, i just hate pokemon

To be honest, I have no interest in the Pokemon Trainer. Definitely an interesting character, but one I don't really see me using.

I likes the look of
Dedede, Meta Knight, Olimar (FTW) and sum others. Basically, all the new guys!

No spoilers please BBB ![]()
Pokémon Trainer looks very fun to use for me, I think he'll be one of my characters in the upcoming "who gets to be my new main" trials. The only problem is, Pokémon Change could put me in a bad position in high level play, like changing between Sheik and Zelda.
EDIT: By the way, new Super Slick Bros video is up. Musician guest star: Wolf O'Donnell.

well link sure did kick those other guys pretty good.

You can choose which Pokémon you start with, likewise with Sheik/ Zelda.

And Samus/ZSS.

Well i've been watching some of the clips on Dojo and i think i'll have to delve into SSE straight away. Fox will set sail into Smash land once again with the help of diddy by the looks of it

I'll probably unlock the characters through the other methods first, than go play SSE. If there's one thing I love in the SSB games is after you do whatever objective, the screen changes to "Challenger Approaching" (or something like that). Good fun.

Yeah, I'm getting that feeling all over again since I deleted my Melee data.![]()
...but I've forgotten how to unlock most of them now.![]()

Heheh, part of me wishes I hadn't seen how to unlock them
I might forget by the time it ever comes out in EU. But yeah, Challenger Approaching FTW!
Every now & then I delete my Smash Bros 64 data and play through it again, or start another save file on Melee.
It feels so nostalgic.
EDIT: Rather epic me related news. I'm seriously considering changing my main to Samus, and in Brawl that will be even more interesting!

Yesterday I finally got the Crazy Hand trophy, so now I guess I'll try to get Diskun... ![]()
I usually play Melee at least once a week, usually for hours on end. If I don't have 5000 KOs by now I'd be a bit confused o.0;

The in game counter is summin for the timed melees and it shows ur scores on screen insted of at the end. Kinda crap I know but other than the character trophies (damn my data deleting brother) I got nothing better to do
