I guess I can keep my mouth closed if every US player does

UK players have no reason not to own Brawl within a few weeks.

I was hoping I'd get to play before it came out in US, but it looks like I'll be waiting up to a week extra. Oh well, still before most of UK.

AS Level Coursework is going to be a real hinderance to my Brawl time though... and vice versa.

Anyway, some things to add, GameSpot have their review up now. 9.5, not bad I guess. Also, I'll possibly be putting up an Official Sharing Thread today, or tomorrow, Sharing as in, stages, screenshots and replay discussion etc. I guess your Brawl videos can be posted there too.

I understand that not all members will be willing to put their replay/stage/screenshot files into some kind of file uploading site, but that seems to be the done thing. However I'll probably link to SWF aswell, they have a stage uploader/downloader aswell as a program that converts your screenshots to JPEG.

Last but not least, I have another Melee video up on YouTube, This one is quite good, Friendlies on Final Destination. That was a month ago, it's hard to believe that we've actually improved since then.

I'm actually not that bothered, disk swapping will annoy me especially when the UK version arrives.
I'm probably not going to be playing this online anyway..

When the UK version arrives I'll sell my JP/US version and get that instead. Then I can finally update my Wii too.

Are firmware updates actually a problem for the freeloader or is that just a speculation?

Speculation at the moment datel said firmware updates won\'t effect it but I dunno...theres still a possibility .

whomever isn\'t has no soul unless they already have the game. I could hardly get to sleep last night it was so weird. So I know I definitely won\'t sleep tonight. This is so nostalgic the last time I couldn\'t get to sleep was Christmas of 1996(I can\'t remember what I got, but who cares)

Now I am confused as to when the tournament is occurring. I had the impression that it was before the midnight launch, but when I look at the Gamestop site, it says @ 12:01 am... guess I should go by that...

I'm not going to bother with the tournament. I'd rather avoid a potential loss in public.

Been thinking. I'm sure when the Wii was first released, local wireless was listed among the specs. So, can you LAN some Wiis for some multiplayer Smash Bros and Mario Kart awesomeness? I've not heard of this being possible...why the hell not? >.< Hell, you could LAN 'Cubes to play Double Dash...

I thought there was some pretty awesome potential for some Wii LAN'ing, but I guess Nintendo has quietly treated that like it doesn't exist...

Anyhow, where are those folks who did the Midnight thing? Take a break from Brawl and give us an update darn it!

Still waiting for the freeloader I ordered... sign its suppose to be here tommorow or tuesday but its just annoying sitting here waiting while other people are playing an awesome game. meh oh well gotta be patient I guess.

I've got it!

Went to walmart about 11:30 and waited 30 minutes in line to get brawlz.

What i can say so far is that it's a shame knowing i won't be surprised by the hidden characters, having already seen them.

So far, i enjoy playing with Wario because of his weird fighting style and Ike for his immense power.

Game is f-ing brilliant. Feel free to ask me any questions
