The character mentioned is in the part where it mentions Fox's conversations. So don't look at it if you don't want spoilers.

Brawl arrived this morning!
It's bloody fantastic! Completed subspace emissary, got all the characters except
Loved the subspace emissary, brilliant cut-scenes! Can't wait to play through it again in co-op.

I just completed subspace emissary in co-op on intense, and the last boss was solid. I've almost done 100 hours of brawl now and I've only had the game for almost a week The game is too good.

So yeah, I've heard this is really really shit online. What does C3 think?

I can't believe anyone was expecting it to be anything but total shite.

A nice Sonic Vs Meta battle, for those of us without the game .

I would have got the game this weekend if not for Christianity being prevalent in this country.

Playing against anyone is really crap. There's no ranking system and you don't get to see the other players name. Playing against friends is awesome though, it's the exact same as having a local battle.

Your talking about the online, right?

Sometimes online is simply awful. I have a bad connection anyway, but at other times it's amazingly lag free. Usually in lag free matches there is still button reactyion lag, but I've had a few matches that felt like I was playing them offline.

Overall playing with friends is pretty cool.

I've unlocked all the characters, and stages. I've completed SSE (though I unlocked all the characters before I played it) but I havn't 100%ed it yet. I'm now using a CD Factory to get all the CDs.

What's a CD factory?

I assume you mean playing certain brawls to obtain teh CD's.

Yeah, people make custom stages designed to maximise efficiency of getting CDs Mainly using conveyer belt + Bowser XD

Hey i finaaaaaaaaaly got to play this game the other day in a store that i know that does import games in Croydon.

Gotta say that i wasnt all to impressed with its difference from Melee. Not that it was a bad game. I will say what the negatives are first. I played with the classic controller throughout the whole of the 2 games i played and it wasnt a bad controller setting but would prefer to play with a Gamecube controller.

I felt that the ultimate smash ball thingy came up to often, but i should hope there is a option to turn that darned thing off. Ruins the game if you ask me.

Apart from that nothing else was bad

I played against a human player who seemed to be in the store all day. Hovered around the 2 that were playing it for like 20 minutes before one guy had enough and handed me the controller.

I played as Pokemon trainer first but felt like Ivysaur and Squirtle were way to weak especially compared to Charizard, but i guess they will take getting used to. The second game i played with Kirby but i felt like he'd been weakened down

Otherwise i can wait to get my mits on this game because i know its not as special as i had hoped. I am sure i am wrong about this, but would like to carry on thinking this until the game is released over here.

I could have bought the game and freeloader right there and then for £70 but knew i could get it cheaper on the net so i didnt.

However im a lil worried that Nintendo WILL almost definately send an update with one of their games or through WiiConnect24 that will disable the freeloader in the near future. May as well wait.

Still for those of you without brawl it aint those 36DD's ive been waiting for but maybe its because im jealous. Hopefully Mario Kart would be a good size cup to keep me occupied.

They've killed Kirby the moment they made Kirby's Side Smash in the air the same as on the ground.

Smash ball can be turned off in player created brawls.

And GC controller can be used.

I don't get it...

First of all, if you want to play Brawl w/, don't update your Wii until it comes out in PAL, or wait for reports from people who have updated to see if it's safe or not.

Secondly, Squirtle completely pwns, he's so quick! Charizard is pretty good I guess, but Ivysaur is meh. Squirtle FTW!

And Kirby is DEFINITELY better in Brawl than he is in Melee. Kirby was awful in Melee, it was quite tragic, since Kirby was one of the best characters on SSB64.

Lastly game + freeloader for £70?! That's a huge rip off! You can get it £20 cheaper on the net! Or less!
