Exactly, kinda pointless putting them in the game.

I would like to present the Super Smash Bros series with multiple awards, all to do with telling people that they're wrong about something or another, and making Nintendo fans say "I told you so".

Award #1: For creating general awareness that the guy in green is called Link and not Zelda.

Award#2: For creating general awareness that Zelda is a princess and not a fairy boy.

Award #3: For creating general awareness that the robot is called Samus and not Metroid.

Award #4: For creating general awareness that the robot is actually a busty woman in a Power Suit.

Award #5: For creating general awareness that the little guy with the big nose is called Olimar and not Pikman

Award #6: For creating general awareness that "Pokémon Universe" will not be coming to PlayStation because Pokémon is a Nintendo franchise.

Yeah, everyone knows real men don't use Golden Hammers. Kirby Air Ride (Brilliant game, don't believe the lies) had the exact same challenge thing, with something similar to the golden hammers. I think I only ever used 1 because there was something I really wanted and couldn't be bothered to spend ages trying to get... I was so proud when I finally did all 100 of the top-ride mode challenges without any help though *.*

Anyway, I was wondering... Do we have a place for Brawl high scores etc... I would look back through the thread but... 95 pages >_> Would it be worth a new topic or better off here? For now here be some of mine:

Yeah I heard Sakurai took a lot of stuff from various Kirby games for the Smash Bros series. I'm still looking for Air Ride really. I want it but for some reason don't have it yet.

Anyway I just beat Tabuu on Easy mode and he didn't even get me off 0% damage...

Oh yeah, as for new characters, I think they're all really good (Apart from Olimar, who is completely useless). In fact I think they're a bit TOO good... A lot of them make all the old characters seem rubbish, for example Link, who seems to be even SLOWER than before and jumps even less high...

My favourites so far would have to be Pokémon Trainer and Meta-Knight. I love how the did the three different Pokémon as sort of Speed, Balance and Power. I quite like Dedede and Ike, even if they are a bit slow and I'm guessing I'll love Sonic when I finally get him. I'm currently going through SSE for the second time, now on my own Wii instead of knighty's so I should have him soon.

I thought it was a bit crap the way Sonic just appears out of nowhere... I assumed that you'd get him on one of the levels up on the floating island (Because it's blatantly supposed to be THE floating island ). I at LEAST hoped for an awesome FMV where it crashes into the water like in Sonic Adventure ^^;

Lol, I just don't think you get Olimar; he's fantastic.

As for the Sonic in SSE stuff:

Anyway, I've played the game for 3 days. It's great, even though it takes some time getting used to. I think it's because it looks/plays so much like Melee. You're very quick to judge stages, characters, items that way.

My brother got a bit pissed off because I always kicked asses by 'stealing' the Smash Ball or the Dragoon.

We played Adventure Mode cooperative. It's often a bit repetitive, but still very much worth the time. Most movies are sweet!

I'd definitely attached to Lucario more than any other character now. I love the range of his smash attacks, but his counter is a little iffy and his sideways b moves are a bit slow to have much use over his already really powerful smash attacks. His movement is like a move weighty and tighter version of Mewtwo which is good in my books.

Yeah all things intended he's like a better version of Mewtwo. Although I'm still disappointed Mewtwo didn't return with buffs, I always found him pretty fun to play as really, and he was certainly original in Melee.

I think you have to know how to use Lucario to use him well, since I find it hard to KO with him. His down air is really good though I find.

If you could get a character who's perfect for you in Brawl, I think mine has to be Mr Game & Watch. I always liked him in Melee but now he's amazing, all my previous Brawl mains made me "meh" a little, but G&W is different. :3

I absolutely hate his bair. People who usually choose G&W just spam the hell out of it. Still haven't found a way to counter it.

Basically, whatever was wrong with G&W in Melee was fixed and improved on in Brawl.

I don\'t use his bair very often TBH... I mostly use his fair and his dair. (Which I call \"Kingdom Hearts Attack\")

And yeah, I remember at first people complained greatly that Mr G&W\'s Parachute nair was gone and put into his ^B, but overall he\'s far better than in Melee. And although I don\'t really give a shiz about tiers anymore, it seems he might place pretty highly anyway.

EDIT: Oh yeah... I use his nair a hell of a lot too... for fun and for annoying people.

There's been a fad going on, in which people name their turtles (It's G&W bair, where he pulls out a turtle)

Also what I find annoying about him is his d-throw to d-smash combo (I think that's it). I usually don't have the reflex's to tech out of that.

His D-Smash is amazing, but I regret to inform you that I'm bad at utilising grabs. Sometimes I use them loads and sometimes I forget they're there. Usually when I do grab I do front or back throw followed by fair or bair anyway.

Are you a Smash Boards reader? I remember that SmashBoards had a name for the little cloud on Yoshi's Story (Melee) that saved everyone randomly.

Yeah, I read sometimes for their character guides. Notably Falco, Meta Knight, and Marth. Don't post though. Seems too big for me.

I used to post but now all they do is have arguments about Melee being better than Brawl and Wavedashing being a glitch and MetaKnight being broken and complaining and Geno/Ridley/Claus/Master Cheif.

Heh. Not surprised. But it seems like a good place if you want to have some Wi-Fi matches though. I need more friends on my friends list. 24/64. Half of them are casual players, and the other half who gave up on the game cause of the crappy Wi-Fi and laggy games.

Still haven\'t found my main but getting there, I think I\'m either going to go with Toon Link, R.O.B. or Wolf (Still have to praticed alot of characters though.) I find it hard to KO with Meta and his smash attacks are too slow when compared to his basic attacks.

Lag is still pissing me off, I recon now it\'s not my fault.

Toon Link is great. Always loved playing as Young Link in Melee, but always got my ass handed to me.
