So the cheaters chosen few with the cheat devices mystic keys can sneakily obtain unlock them. Remember, it's not cheating if it can go through their cheat-detection systems on the tourneys cleanly.

Speaking of unobtainables, I got my Arceus today and, after multiple MULTIPLE restarts, chose one with what I dub to be decent stats. I figure one with HP in the 360's with Attack-Sp. Def in the 270's and 260's and Speed in the 230's is pretty damn good enough.

If anyone has clicked on this dont tell anyone because I want to find out on my own. I hate spoilers in a Pokemon game.

Tons of events have already been confirmed for the Japanese version, so I hope a lot of them will come to the west via WiFi...

And the US release date has finally been announed too. Methinks I'll be importing for sure Can't waaait~

Soul Silver is the one that I will be getting becasue it was the one that I had before. I cant wait to play it with upadted sprites. Agharr, I cant wait.

And by the way, I just got to "finishing" Mystery Dungeon Blue and am now at the post-game scenario. I rounded up uno-dos-tres and am now on my way to getting Groudon. I got him in Red and I remember how much of a bitch it was restarting OVER AND OVER AGAIN, trying to get him. I don't remember if I either finally caught after 100's of repeats or if I quitted, got Diamond rank, and caught him. I'm currently level 40, Platinum Rank, and alone, yet have already tried about 10 times and couldn't get him. Then I thought maybe I should kill 'im and go back again, thinking it was one of those "get on the 2nd fight" sort of things and still haven't gotten him after 5 more tries. Does Groudon have a low catch rate, or am I doing something wrong?

I downloaded the Mew onto my SoulSilver. After YEARS of waiting, I finally got my Mew. Will still be buying the PAL copy when it's finally re;eassed. I got stuck on Brock. My pokmeon are made up of some from Diamond. My Scizor and Metang got some good excersise finally.

Mews Lv.5. NOw if only Celebi was a Wifi event pkmn. THey're not gonna do it though. It'll be a "come here" event, Gym leaders are such cheaters nowadyas.

Yeah the Celebi is a 13th Movie Event Pokémon (and it activates an incredible ingame event as explained a few posts back ) I really hope it comes to Europe in a way that makes it easier for us... especially gamers in Cornwall... like me

What\'s that about new Pokémon? According to various spots around the net, as many as 5 new Pokémon could be revealed in the 13th movie! And I highly doubt that every single one will be forms...

5th gen here we come!

And the Pikachu-colored Pichu event has been confirmed in the US, for the start of February. I'm gonna get 2!...Maybe I should've done the same for the Arceus event, now that I think about it...

Considering the games are coming out in Europe around the same time I hope this means we\'ll get the event too.

Not that I live anywhere near any of the places where the Event will be. WiFi distribution plz
Also the Jirachi event is rumoured to be popping up for us soon too. That would be epic!!

Ehehe...Sorry. Crystal was my 2nd game I ever got once I got the SP...which was a long, long time ago. I don't think I ever got around to finishing it, though. I forget.

OK bitches. Seeing as HG/SS is right around the corner, and the 5th gen games have been confirmed for Japanese release this year, I think it's time for the thread to be revived

-New Pokémon are confirmed
-New areas (probably region) are confirmed
-New gaming mechanics (hopefully big ones) are confirmed

Hopefully the first screens, Pokémon and game titles will be revealed in the coming months.

What are everyone's hopes for gen 5? Here are some of mine:

-Less Legies
-More interesting dual types
-Sucky types made better
-Some actually awesome Dragon types
-Dragon Eeveelution.
-High quality 2D sprites and animations, Apollo Justice level please.
-Shake up the gameplay, including continuity, game structure, battles, and more
-Better puzzles

As well as much more. Basically I want a game that will retain everyone's interest in the series without ending up as the next Gen 3 (basically the gen everyone hated for no good reason)

Bump, and moved to the DS Board since the WiFi Board is kinda dead atm.

Is the new DS series actually confirmed as being 5th gen? I mean, I know it'll have new Pokémon in it...but so did Pokémon XD and Pokémon Dash...
Still, I definitely hope it is 5th gen, CAN'T WAIT for the first new Pokémon to be revealed!! And I'm definitely hoping for some improvements, though, lets be honest, we'll love it to bits even if there aren't any big ones. :p I want better overworld graphics (a mix between the 4th gen and Ranger graphical style perhaps? 3D and with better relative sizes of objects), and a more in-depth story with lovable NPCs, new and old characters, the fly HM to be controlled in real-time, you actually control the flight over the country, and you can see everything under you and land anywhere (perhaps block areas you hadn't been to yet with thick clouds or something :p)

Definitely keep all the previous features from the games. Nothing like ditching day/night like they did with 3rd gen.

Yeah, 5th gen mainseries games are confirmed for 2010 release on DS in Japan. Nothing revealed yet, grr.

And yeah, personally I want less Chibi graphics, and older protagonists too.

I want full character personalisation actually. Age, height, hair colour, etc. They don't have to give us something on the same scale as Oblivion or anything, but I at least want the height comparison in the Pokédex to be slightly accurate to my own height.

EDIT: When does Pokémon Sunday air exactly? I wanna know if I should be staying up to keep an eye out for new stuff.
