Heh heh.... Guys... I bred my lvl 100 Blaziken (male) with a lvl 25 Ditto and i got a pokemon egg! it hatched into Torchic (male)! The strangest thing is that two of it's moves it had was Firefly's strength and Firefly's Fire Blast! Brilliant!

That's not strange at all. That's how breeding works.

yea if both parents of the pokemon know the move the baby will know it like my chimchar lv 5 knows flamethrower cuase both of the pokemon that bred it knew flamethrower(monferno and infernape)

Yeah, I just started again, & my brother bred a Turtwig & a Piplup for me. The Turtwig has Cut & Rock Smash, & the Piplup has Surf & Hydro Pump! Woo!

The threads should be fine, Jacob usually does a good job of looking after them, I havn't been here much lately anyway.

hahaha, yeah, thats what i used mine for when i started the game! i had Cranidos, Torterra, Sheildon, Gible, Bronzor, and Lucario

i used a starly for fly and defog, bibarel for surf, strength and rock smash(then eventually, rockclimb and waterfall)

i dont like my pokemon having HM's on them, so when ever i have to use them, i switch one of my pokemon out for either bibarel or starly(i like surf though, its a pretty good attack)

but it still sucks you cant trade anybody.

personally, the reason i like certain pokemon is cuz of the way they look or their attacks, my favorite attacks are Zen Headbutt and Draco Meteor, and its kool cuz my salamence know's both!!! plus he looks kool!!! but my favorite pokemon is gartchomp(just look at my avatar)

I have some questions.

I have a few Pokemon I want to evolve, but they're the kind I really hate; the ones that need to be freakin' "HAPPY." My Riolu is the one I'm focusing on the most; it's holding the Soothe Bell, it fights occasionally, I've fed it some Poffins (it has no taste preference,) and have given it a few daily massages from the lady in Veilstone so far. How many massages is it going to take until my Riolu is happy enough to evolve? Also, how much do Poffins help?

The other "happiness babies" I want to evolve are Cleffa and Happiny. I've been feeding them some Poffins based on their taste preferences (bitter and dry, respectively,) but since my highest priority is Riolu right now, I haven't gotten to give them any massages yet. Oh, and where might I get a Moonstone from so I can evolve a Clefairy into a Clefable? I just want to fill out my Pokedex, so I don't care about using them in my team.

If you have that poketech app that tells you how happy a pokemon is, wait until that pokemon has 2 small hearts. Then level it up one or two levels and it will evolve. The quikest way to evolve by happieness is to go to the top floor of the ribbon place.

2 small hearts? Don't the hearts have to be big on the Poketch? And what do you mean by the top floor of the ribbon place? What's the ribbon place?

in the resort area, its the building you cant go in until you have a pokemon with a bunch of ribbons

Can somebody please tell me how many massages it takes to evolve a "happiness" Pokemon, though?

This morning, I got a mew lv. 1 off the GTS that said the person met it in Hoen at lv 10. I tradded a lv 100 blissy for it because I thought that if I got one, I could get almost anything I wanted at the GTS. When I tryed to trade for something, it said "this pokemon can not be offered for trade!" Nintendo has done a pretty good job making sure you don't trade hacked pokemon at the GTS.

Woo, my Riolu evolved this morning!

Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. Now all I need to do is evolve a handful of other "happiness" Pokemon. >_>
