You probally have those in your country as I do jb?. Those have to be the worst smelling fruit in the world, but the crazy thing is it actually tastes nice. Fruit bats love them. They are called Durian's actually, but that's close enough I guess .

It all depends on how ripe it is, if it's too ripe get it the hell out of the kitchen and into the garden I say. In my country of origin fruit bats will fly into your house for it unless it's wrapped up tightly in cloth. We get huge ones, those in the pic are tiny.
