Super Mario Galaxy has been reviewed by reputable Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu this week, and it's been rated 10/9/9/10, or 38 out of 40 - perfect scores from all but two of the reviewers.
The magazine apparently stated that the game keeps players wanting to see what's in the next level, while gradually building up what's available and maintaining a good difficulty balance and level design.
The Wii-mote controls are said to work almost too well, with the ability to point and gather star pieces labelled exhilarating. As Nintendo's billed, and as Famitsu has found, it's a game that anyone can enjoy, and a game that'll last as long as you want it to.
Super Mario Galaxy will be released next week in Japan, before arriving in Australia on November 29.
