I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

On top of this, no more Super Mario Galaxy Threads that aren't news pieces Smilie

Good work iPwnd Smilie

By the way, I'm also moving this to the Wii section.

Enjoy Smilie

I want Yoshi to be in it. Smilie

However, this game looks incredible, not having Yoshi won't take away points, but having Yoshi will ADD points! Smilie

Those new videos look absolutely incredible! I can't believe we're finally getting something worthy of being the true Mario 64 successor.

If this is what we're getting, the decade long wait has been worth it. Smilie

LOL sunshine was shit.

Yeah...I used to love Sunshine, but I just couldn't get through it at a point. Still haven't. The camera is also a pain.

Anyhow, I am soo looking forward to this! I'll end up having to wait until December to play it though, seeing as thats when I *may* get a Wii.

Game of the Year Smilie

this looks like a contender for one of the best games ever, no?

i just hope it doesn't dissapoint, ala twilight princess

I surely did my friend, I surely did.

It's not that it wasn't a good game, it just lacked the variety Mario 64 had and the jet pack thing was confining.

Confining? What the hell? It opened up LOADS of new gameplay possibilities. It had some fantastic levels (less "variety" because it's all set on an island) as well. Sunshine was supoib.

Aye, twas a hugely overrated game. I thought it looked a bit pants before but got into it last year; really enjoyed that level with the hotel/boo puzzle and the final section with that blasted ship in lava Smilie

I think people missed the different environments that 64 had; but I don't see what makes Sunshine such a bad game - it was different, and different really doesn't mean bad!

Fantastic!Smilie

10 mins only before the reset but I got two goes in a row after my girlfriend let me play her spot in the Q. I played a little of the Good Egg Galaxy and the HoneyHive Galaxy we have all seen.

Super Mario Galaxy has been reviewed by reputable Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu this week, and it's been rated 10/9/9/10, or 38 out of 40 - perfect scores from all but two of the reviewers.

The magazine apparently stated that the game keeps players wanting to see what's in the next level, while gradually building up what's available and maintaining a good difficulty balance and level design.

The Wii-mote controls are said to work almost too well, with the ability to point and gather star pieces labelled exhilarating. As Nintendo's billed, and as Famitsu has found, it's a game that anyone can enjoy, and a game that'll last as long as you want it to.

Super Mario Galaxy will be released next week in Japan, before arriving in Australia on November 29.

Great score! Can't wait to play this.

Smilie This site game the game a 10/10!

Clicky

I can't wait for this, but I'm always worried about spoilers and stuff. I'm trying not to do what I did with Twilight Princess, which I regret now. Basically I was watching and looking at every piece of media on the game and when I got it I found it wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be. I kinda blame it for that reason.

I'm starting to do the same with Galaxy though and it's a bad habit. So from now on, no spoilers! Smilie

Luigi will be playable once again in a proper Super Mario adventure, but only after you've secured 120 stars, completed the purple coin missions, and defeated Bowser a second time. According to the alleged guide scan "Luigi jumps higher and further, and also runs faster, but has trouble stopping. They each have the same moves, such as the long-jump or backflip, but the difference in their basic jump, running speed, and stopping ability makes completing the game harder."

A nice little bonus that ensures I'll be getting every damn star in the game.

WHAAA!!! I wanted Luigi to be playable, didn't think it'd happen, but there it is, on paper! I must get every damn star!

(Luigi's mah favorite fictional character btw)

This is instantly the best Mario game, fact.

I am going the same route for the same reasons, besides us Wii owners don't have long to wait anyway. GALAXY! Smilie.

Mario Sunshine is so underrated. Why does everyone hate it so much? It was only hated because everyone kept on comparing the revolutionary aspects to Mario 64, & who can win against Mario 64? It's not fair. Sunshine was great, end of. Smilie

Less than 2 weeks 14 days o.o

I honestly don't know what I was more hyped for, Wii release, or this o.o

& can Luigi talk stop please. Smilie It's upsetting me.
