It's weird, I don't actually remember having much fun on games when I was a kid, I just remember playing them, being entertained by the pictures on the screen, or playing them to be involved in some kind of fad.

Which is why I nostalgia over Gen 3 more than any other Gen, because that's when everyone else except me started hating it and I played it only for myself.

So what you're admitting is that Gen I and II weren't as fun for you because you weren't yet developed into a fully-fledged gamer? Either way, it's all really a matter of opinion.

Gen I & II I enjoyed thoroughly but partly because I was a kid when I played them. I mean come on, I also thoroughly enjoyed the fucking anime when I was a kid, and that's shit awful no matter what era of anime you put it in.
Gen III & IV I thoroughly enjoyed because they were thoroughly enjoyable, and this time I had no nostalgic values to fog my true interpretations.

This Pokémon is called Chatot, it's based on a parrot and it can attack by saying whatever it wants. Also its head is shaped like a musical note, but it's new so it has a crap design right? Yeah.
