I prefer the english side for now as subtitles just get
irritating.
As for 5D, I say give it a chance, its not even out yet, although I agree at this point it looks *****ng ridiculous, and them canceling GX when it actually started getting good, is hugely irritating.

But the English dub doesn't have the excellent orcastrated background music. That's one of the reasons why I liked the original Yugioh so much. Also the English dub always refers people going to the shadow realm but in the Japanese version instead of going to the shadow realm they die. The dub is too concentrated on kids, all the violence has been cut out.
Anyways have you seen the last episode of GX, it's actually quite good.

I\'m currently torrenting the first 2 seasons of Pokémon, the Indigo League and the Orange Islands, which will be cool because there are many episodes I missed over the years.

It also has the banned episodes in Japanese! That should be interesting.

EDIT: The dub of YuGiOh has the shit censored out of it. I\'m not a YuGiOh fan, but I did a little research on 4Kids\' censorship. Most guns are censored, and I\'m sure there will have been censored swearing, as well as entire scenes that feature violence.

It\'s possibly one of the most censored animes I\'ve ever heard of.

Can't help but agree with that. I've watched the more enjoyable episodes of the original in Japanese, the script is much better, but, you know, I started watching in English, guess I'm just too used to that.
And yep, loved the final GX episode. Who do you think won?

Yeah I saw the first episode...with the shady guy that's blatantly yugi XD - giving away his kuribo.

I might watch the last episode...because I can - to see how yugioh evolved XD.

I've actually only seen the first and last episode of GX. I kinda went out of yugioh after the original series finished about 4 years ago. However I like how they brought back the original music in the final GX episode when Yami Yugi comes out.
I'll still play the DS game though cus it's free
ZeroSimon I bet you were pissed off when your God card got stolen. As I recall, it was really hard getting a hold of a God card. They're really expensive aswell. I won mine in a tournament.
