Revise??? pehhh.. Ahh, you\'ve gotta come to Aus, hahahaha i used to suck at school in Brasil, got here, and got 87% average on the HSC (final exams in yr 12) without touching my books, in fact, that was when my girlfriend came from her country. So that made me go from caring a little to not giving a rat\'s ass.

Please explain to a Canadian. What does it mean to 'revise'?

Does it just mean to study? Re-read? Are you actually changing something (like revising)?

Revise = Study.

we also say Study, but mostly revise/revision. :/

Like to complicate things, eh! I always wondered what they meant in Harry Potter when they talked about revising their notes.

So how do you feel is the most effective way to study, ummm, er, I mean, revise?

I\'m going to say that the word Revise probably came before the word study in that context. Just as Colour came before Color. (Actually I have no idea!)

I read notes, write notes, and go on C3 get a big headache. Best way to revise.

We in Canada also use the proper spelling of 'colour', 'neighbour', and 'banned'. Oh wait, different thread.

I like your revision method. I was terrible at studying for tests/exams. I'd spend hours procrastinating, and then hours more nodding off looking at the same page!

It was a waste of time really since I was always an 'A' student. It just seemed to come easy for me. I still punished myself thinking I should be studying more and trying harder.

If you didn't then you'd probably not do as well. I've never been an A student nor will I ever be one, probably. I've always been a B student.

I think I will sleep outside tonight on my balcony. There is no sign of dropping temperatures for at least another 2 days. And I have never slept on the balcony before.

First I need to water the plants though. They almost burned to death today, poor things.

That's the kind of thing I've always wanted to do aswell. I'm too scared of insects/arachnids (Spiders aren't insects ) though.

I guess I've slept in a tent before. Spiders love warm weather.

I've slept in the open before, only then I didn't have a pillow or blankets so I woke up a few too many times during the night.
This time I'm prepared. :p
I can always get back in my appartment when it doesn't work out.

I'm not scared, but I hope no bird will shit on my face in the morning. That's another thing; I wake up early due to the sun shining in my face.

The spiders here are way too small to bother me. And I love insects, I even got a book with most of the insects living in the Netherlands and Belgium in it, so I can look them up when I see them. It's fun.
